I know this is not good for your hair long-term. Also, I have the Moroccanoil Repair mask, which is hard to beat. But I wanted to give it a try since my hair was in desperate need of some moisture. I have long hair highlights, but what really damages it is when i use my curling iron. The ends were very dry and brittle. If I had gone to a hairdresser in that state they would have wanted to cut 2 or 3 inches off my hair. Anyways, I washed my hair in the shower with shampoo only, got out of the shower and did not brush it, just applied this mask.
