Angels Thayer Belgian Wall Tapestry

Angels Thayer is a jacquard wall tapestry made in Belgium. The artwork is from an inspirational painting by Thayer, Abbott Handerson in 1877, American Painter, 1849-1921. It is now on display at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Thayer is known primarily for his ethereal angel figures, as well as painted landscapes and delicate florals.
