For ages 12 up. MADE IN USA. Kit markings may not much markings in photos. t tAlong with the Messerschmitt BF 109 the Focke Wulf FW-190 were the main Luftwaffe fighter planes during World War II. The FW-190 was designed to be more durable than other period fighter planes and had wider track landing gear so it could fly from rougher airfields than other planes. It also used rigid linkages to operate control surfaces giving it a degree of control not found in planes that used the traditional cables and pulleys. Well liked by German pilots it was considered superior to most British fighter planes until the introduction of the Spitfire Mark IX in 1942.
