Phillips Collection Silver Leaf / Black Wisp Wall Tile

Thai artist Chitra Han, known for her brilliant trailblazing works on canvas, painstakingly applies silver and gold leaf onto organic wood slices for the first time to create dazzling dimensional wall sculptures in our Wisp Collection. The Wisp Silver Wall Tile is one of two color combinations. Though it appears that Han had a Jackson Pollock moment and let silver leaf fly onto the black surface of this decorative accessory, her methods are far too precise for that. Both of these reflect the ethos that the Phillips Collection personifies: modern organic. This piece is crafted from natural solid wood. The color and character of wood grain may vary and natural cracks and holes may be present adding a unique character to your piece.
